The IBHCDT replaced 15 damaged high- tension electric poles with new and standard poles.

The new poles and accessories were installed in December 2023 as part of the Trust 2023 programmes as contained in the Needs Assessment and Approved Development plan. Two communities in Ibeno LGA (Upenekang and Iwuoachang) and three communities in Eket LGA (Esit Urua, Edebuok and Ebana) benefitted from the upgrade.
